Wayfinder Profile — Clarity. Integration. Direction.

Wayfinder

A deeper way to understand where you are—and where you’re going.

Wayfinder is a psychological assessment and advisory process for people who want a clearer understanding of themselves, the patterns shaping their lives, and the direction they want to move next.

It grew out of years spent working closely with leaders, professionals, athletes, couples, and individuals navigating meaningful transitions. Again and again, I saw the value of stepping outside the pace of everyday life long enough to see the larger picture, not simply asking What should I do?, but What is shaping the way I think, relate, work, choose, and move through the world?

At the heart of Wayfinder are three ideas: clarity, integration, and direction. Clarity means seeing yourself and your life more accurately. Integration means understanding how the different parts of your history, personality, relationships, values, strengths, and recurring patterns fit together. Direction means using that understanding to make more intentional choices about what comes next.

The Profile

Most assessments tell you something about yourself. Wayfinder is designed to help put the pieces together.

The process draws from psychological assessment alongside a careful exploration of developmental history, personality, relationships, values, emotional patterns, and the broader context of a person’s life. Rather than reducing someone to a type, score, or diagnosis, the goal is a thoughtful and integrated psychological profile that helps make sense of both strengths and recurring patterns.

The work is grounded in a biopsychosocial framework, considering the whole person, with space for spiritual identity and formation when that is meaningful to the individual.

The Profile is designed to be valuable as a standalone service. It includes a detailed feedback conversation and recommendations about areas for further growth, reflection, or practice. For some people, that may be all they need. For others, the Profile can become the starting point for a longer advisory or coaching process.

From insight to direction

Self-understanding is useful only if it changes the way we live.

Wayfinder is designed to move from profile to plan, identifying what deserves attention, what may need to change, and what is worth cultivating in the season ahead. Depending on the individual, that might involve relationships, leadership, emotional health, performance, spiritual life, major decisions, or a broader question of direction.

The aim is not optimization for its own sake, but greater clarity, freedom, connection, and intentionality in the way a person lives.

The Process

The Wayfinder process is being developed around four core components.

Exploration

An extended conversation exploring your history, current life, relationships, work, aspirations, and the questions that brought you to Wayfinder.

Assessment

A carefully selected set of psychological measures designed to add useful data without turning the experience into an impersonal testing battery.

Integration

The information is considered together, with attention to patterns, tensions, strengths, and themes across different areas of life.

Profile + Plan

We meet to walk through the findings, make sense of what emerged, and develop and identify what deserves attention next.

Who is it for?

Wayfinder is designed for people who are functioning well but sense that there is more to understand—people navigating a transition, carrying significant responsibility, or wanting greater clarity about what comes next.

It may be especially useful for people who have accomplished a great deal yet recognize that external success does not always create the same clarity internally.
